AGL training Ltd are an independent training provider based in Telford, established in 2017, we have continued to go from strength to strength, working in association with Heart of Worcestershire College.

The successful candidate will have experience in some or all of the following Apprenticeship Standards:

· Business Administrator L3

· Customer Service Practitioner L2

· Customer Service Specialist L3

· Team Leader / Supervisor L3

· Functional Skills in English and Maths

General Duties

The successful candidate will:

· Work with a caseload of 40 learners based within the West Midlands.

· Enrol learners onto their apprenticeship programme, including completing necessary paperwork with the learner and their employer.

· Visit learners each month at their place of work to carry out training and assessment.

· Plan for teaching, learning and assessment.

· Use OneFile to encourage the learners to build a portfolio of evidence to achieve their supporting diploma and contribute towards their End Point Assessment.

· With the assistance of BKSB, support and provide tutoring to learners working towards their Functional Skills in English and Maths (Level 1 and Level 2).

· Carry out progress reviews with the learner and employer every 10 weeks.

· Liaise with employers on a regular basis and keep a record of these meetings.

· Monitor and report on learner progress.

· Attend and contribute to standardisation meetings.

· Promote Safeguarding, British Values, Equality and Diversity and Prevent

· Maintain annual record of CPD.

· Additional duties appropriate to the post as directed by AGL Training Ltd Directors.

Skills, Attributes and Qualifications

  • MUST Hold TAQA/A1/D32/33 or equivalent
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification (GCSE A* - C, or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Have relevant occupational experience
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners
  • Full current driving licence
  • Clear DBS

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8.15am - 4.45pm,

Friday: 8.15am - 12.45pm

Total Weekly Hours: 36.5
