Salary: Grade 5, £20,493 - £23,080 per annum.

37 hours per week

Temporary until March 2022

Your role:

As a Finance Officer you will support the efficient and smooth running of a busy office environment delivering unique and demanding operational service.

You will establish and maintain good working relationship with clients, operational staff, social care, billing and debt recovery teams and other departments within the council.

You will provide support to operational staff from a financial perspective and be responsible for ensuring clients are charged for the services they receive, service providers are paid for the service they provide.

You will be responsible for processing all financial records in connection with Day and Domiciliary, residential services, supported living services and direct payments, completing all associated tasks in relation to payment processing activities.

You will be responsible for dealing with a wide range of tasks associated with the Supported Accommodation properties including ordering of furniture, budget management and housing benefit process.

About you:

You must have significant experience in an administrative role obtained in a Local Government, Health or Voluntary Sector, as well as having experience of working in an area of finance. You must also be able to demonstrate a knowledge of charging for services and an understanding of the financial process.

You will have experience of operating an office computer system Mosaic, Agresso, Microsoft Office and developed computer skills in relation to Finance.
