Job Description

Wanted – Big thinkers with passion and tenacity

If you have experience in real estate project or programme management, are a big thinker with a bias for action and have worked in or around Net Zero / Sustainability projects and programmes then we want to talk to you.

We have brought our brightest minds together to respond to our client’s net zero needs. Our ‘counting to zero’ approach allows us to help tackle complex net zero challenges at strategic, tactical and technical level. We design, build and deliver programmes to embed change and make net zero a reality for our clients and are in search of the very best people to help us.

  • Good commercial awareness including the ability to articulate business decisions within the wider context and market trends – our clients are spending £millions and trust us to get the best possible returns for such investment.
  • Confident leading alone and working as part of a team, with ability to flex according to the needs of the programme – we want people that will relish the autonomy that we will give them.
  • A desire to grow and develop – An innate hunger to be part of something big is really important to us.
  • Business development experience and / or the hunger to get involved – you don’t need to be a sales whiz, but everyone has a part to play in growing our business.
  • Competent user of data management software (for example Excel) and systems for data cleansing, management, analytics, and quality assurance – we have complimentary teams of digital gurus for the really tricky stuff, but you need to know your way around Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Leadership experience in the conception, development and implementation of large programmes would be beneficial and credibility as you’ll be working with clients from day one.
What will you be doing?
  • Developing net zero strategies, whole building or estate efficiency strategies, providing advice on achieving net zero
  • Energy efficiency consultancy – including through audits and technical advice, Energy efficiency and carbon emissions reductions for existing assets
  • Define, manage and deliver initiatives and activities that mitigate GHG emissions, including approaches to energy efficiency, fugitive emissions reduction, offsets and renewable energy sources.
  • Organise and prioritise quantified interventions, to develop year by year roadmap that is affordable and deliverable
  • Provide sustainability and net zero consultancy in the following areas:
  • GHG reporting
  • GHG / emissions / energy data analysis
  • ESG strategy, reporting and auditing
  • Embodied carbon
  • Sustainability certifications
  • Offsetting
  • Sustainability business case development
  • Policy relating to net zero and sustainability
  • Net Zero skills and training
  • Net zero technologies and construction methodologies
  • Climate Resilience and risk planning
  • Sustainable Procurement and Social Value
  • Sustainability Behavioural change programmes, capacity building, training and cultural change campaigns
  • Support the day-to-day operational management of the net zero team (at more senior levels, as part of a leadership team, you will also be required to support the achievement of our strategic goals).
  • Support the development of programme processes and systems that enable efficient data collection, management, and benchmarking
  • Set maintain and deliver high standards – across all aspects of service delivery
  • Support business development activities with new and existing clients, including bid writing
  • Support the ongoing development of our services, toolkits and capability build
