    Location – Preston, PR1 8AF

    This is a mobile position coveringother sites in the North West region

    Hours – Monday – Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 (some flexibility required to meet business needs)

    In this role as a Facilities Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and clients. You will work within and supervise the team support desk environment, and conduct a number of tasks to ensure the service delivery to the business is smooth and efficient. The individual in this role will need to show a keenness and aptitude for getting things right, first time, and will be able to work both on initiative and as part of a team (supervising).


    As Facilities Team Supervisor, you will:

    • Assisting with day to day supervision of the Facilities Team including cleaners, security officers and maintenance engineers.
    • Liaising with internal and external customers, contractors, suppliers and other Apleona departments
    • Be a point of escalation for the facilities team
    • Reporting Work Requests and updates on the company CAFM system.
    • Liaising with planners, customers, contractors and suppliers, as necessary to plan in work schedules, request or provide feedback and chase up works.
    • General administration duties required for the smooth running of the facilities team.
    • Liaise with third party providers of the out of hours Facilities Support Centre provision.
    • Ensure compliance of both operational and HR processes and procedures.
    • Motivate and monitor the team to achieve and deliver the highest possible standards of customer service to the client.
    • Ensure new employees have full induction and training.
    • Manage the team’s rotas including holidays to ensure effective cover at all times.

    Our Ideal candidate will need to have:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience of working within Facilities Management, supervising cleaners & security teams
    • IOSH Managing Safely
    • A strong desire to get things done
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Great planning and organising skills
    • Great time keeping
    • Able to prioritise and ensure tasks are done efficiently
    • Attention to detail and works accurately
    • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and with contractors on the site
    • Knowledge of all aspects of legislation pertaining to the management of properties and office services.
    • Experience of supervisory work within a FM environment.
    • Valid UK Driving License.

    We’ll provide you with full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience of working in a similar environment and the ability to deal with people at all levels.

    You will be paid up to £34,500 and you will have access to Apleona employee benefits that will be available to you as soon as you start.
