We’re currently partnering with a fast growing, well-respected Property & Investment group with operations across the UK. Currently on a trajectory of growth through an proactive acquisition strategy, now would be a great time to join the group and share in their success.

Reporting into the Chief Executive and managing a team of 3, the Head of Finance will provide the business with a professional and complete financial management and accounting service. Ensuring controls are in place and followed to provide this service in line with company procedures and current legislation. This role will involve working closely with the CEO and working collaboratively with members of the Senior Management Team to support the growth and expansion of the business.

The candidate will have responsibility for the finance team with a view to motivate, develop and engage the team to achieve results.

The Key tasks for the role will be:

  • Oversee the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts for all of the Group Companies
  • Review the Accounts prepared by the Group Accountant
  • Ensure all account reconciliations are complete and reviewed
  • Produce MI that adds value and equips the business to make informed business decisions.
  • Leadership – lead, motivate and inspire the finance team
  • People planning – work with HR and CEO to develop a people plan for finance in line with future growth of the business
  • Training and development – devise and deliver appropriate induction, coaching and training plans for the finance team
  • Prepare the weekly and rolling 12-month cash forecast for review with the CEO
  • Liaise with Head of Investment Strategy to ensure the latest position is reported
  • Set up financial systems for new sites Corporation Tax Returns
  • Provide the analysis of all relevant expenditure
  • Oversee the preparation of all year end accounts for all companies in the group
  • Co-ordinate and collate all information required for the budget
  • Prepare a detailed review of overheads
  • Prepare draft template and 12-month plan for review by the CEO

Key Requirements

  • A fully qualified accountant ( ACA / ACCA/ CIMA)
  • Financial and team management experience
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills
  • Exposure to property or financial services would be beneficial


  • £55,000 - £65,000
  • 10% Car allowance
  • Up to 25% bonus
