Are you an experienced Maths teacher? Do you enjoy working with children to help them achieve their full potential? If so, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for experienced tutors to teach our small-group lessons at our branches based in South-West London (New Malden & Sutton). Both branches are situated close to the station, the high street and attractive local amenities.

We offer flexibility to choose your own teaching hours and work with our tutors to devise their personal timetable. Our teaching hours are Monday-Friday 4-8pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.

About the role:
Our classes are taught in small groups with a maximum of 7 students per class. At OxBridge, we have our in-house publishing team who prepare weekly resources for you to teach during the lesson. Our Tuition Team staff are also on hand to bridge communications with our customers, so your sole focus can be on teaching and inspiring the young minds!

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Delivery of lessons for students aged 7-11
  • Homework marking
  • Documentation of feedback
  • Bi-annual report writing

The candidate must:

  • Hold a relevant degree
  • Have 2+ years of recent teaching/tutoring experience
  • Be knowledgeable about 11+ exams and process
  • Be passionate about teaching and committed to students
  • Be punctual, organised and detail-oriented
  • Be engaged in feedback (both providing and receiving)

It is preferred if the candidate has:

  • A teaching qualification
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Commitment to the same weekly class for a prolonged period

Starting wage is based on experience, starting at £20 per class.
