About the role

The role of the management accountant is to take ownership of various aspects of the media finance function, from the preparation of management accounts to assisting with third party reconciliations, whilst supporting the Financial controller with month end processes.

Key responsibilities for the role will include

  • Assistance with International revenue recognition
  • International cost allocation
  • Tableau reporting
  • Management accounts and month end processes, such as accruals, prepayments, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Support with budget preparation
  • Support with annual audit
  • Supporting the process of accounts payable, approving payment runs, and reviewing the trade creditors.
  • Assistance with third party reconciliations
  • Debtors /Credit control review when needed
  • Production of weekly cashflow forecast for all the media entities
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ad hoc support for the Media Financial Controller

About you

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience with management accounts and month end processes.
  • Take initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Team player with pronounced numerical affinity and accuracy
  • Previous experience with ERP systems (Exchequer) an advantage
  • Tableau experience an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
