Our client is a leading provider of expertise to their clients to maintain and continue the development of the infrastructure of both highways and telecommunications sectors throughout the UK.

Role Description

To accurately measure the works completed on site highlighting deviations from the
original plans with detail of the additional measure related to the deviations identified and
submitted as part of the applications process.
Undertake testing at site as required and provide feedback on site set up and the quality of
works being undertaken/completed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate measure information for completed (or part completed) works as

required.

  • Highlight deviations on completed (or part completed) works against the plan

capturing the measure detail relating to the deviation and drawing up the ‘As Build’
for application submission.

  • Support the Project Manager and/or the site supervisor in resolving queries with

clients and/or sub-contractors in relation to completed build through the provision of
an independent measure.

  • Ensure the site is clear when undertaking measure of completed works, escalating

immediately to the Project Manager and/or site Supervisor if the site needs to be
cleared.

  • Carry out clegg test and/or depth checks, record and issue permit to reinstate on

completion of test.

  • Monitor state and completeness of PPE ensuring missing PPE is obtained and

defective PPE replaced immediately.

  • Undertake CMS checks whilst on site as required.
  • Monitor and correct Signing, Lighting and Guarding providing feedback to the

Project Manager and/or site Supervisor on interventions completed.

  • Provide feedback to the Measure Tech. Supervisor on the quality of works at site

highlighting any concerns immediately whilst at site.

  • Utilise Geosight to record activity undertaken at site an in support of feedback

delivered in relation to the quality of works completed.

  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure all required information is

captured in a timely manner, is accurate and able to be used confidently in the
application process.
