Pedder is a dominant Estate Agency business within South East London. We are looking for a dynamic, professional, and customer orientated residential sales professional who is passionate about property, and who is looking to excel in their career within the industry. Previous experience in residential sales is essential for this role.

Brief duties of the role:

  • Qualifying potential buyers, identifying their needs and matching them to suitable properties.
  • Viewing properties, negotiating offers, liaising with solicitors and mortgage brokers and delivering the highest levels of customer service to buyers and sellers alike. ·
  • To maximise the sales income for the branch, by securing as many sales as possible that follow through to completion.
  • To maximise on securing valuations for the branch at every opportunity, through canvassing, applicant registration and closing an appointment.
  • To maintain positive and professional relationships with all clients at every stage through to completion.
  • Understand and work in line with current lettings legislation, as well as Pedder best practices.
  • To work individually to exceed your targets as well as supporting your team to become the market leader in your area and meet the overall office target.

Required skills and Experience:

  • A full and clean driving licence.
  • Be able to commit to working hours of Monday to Thursday, 8.45 am - 6.00 (Friday until 5:00pm). We are currently trialling a Monday-Friday only working arrangement.
  • Be local to South East London.
  • Qualified to degree level or above.
  • NAEA qualified (desirable but not essential).
  • Prior experience in residential estate agency (desirable but not essential).

Salary details:

This is a commission-based role, however a basic salary is also provided.

  • Basic salary - £18,000-£20,000 DOE
  • Guaranteed commission for the first 3 months of employment - £1000 per month*
  • Tiered commission structure starting from 10% up to 15% based on an achievable and exceedable annual target (between £200,000 - £250,000)
  • Uncapped commission – targets can be exceeded to maximise accelerated commission banding
  • Increased earning opportunities through targeted quarterly/annual bonuses, and other referral fees and incentives

On target earnings (OTE) - £45,000+

*repayable upon leaving dependent on length of service
